Vibol Hou, SVP Technology
Known for his inventive approach to user-centric technology solutions, Vibol
oversees all aspects of IT operations, from technology to product development,
and leads the technology team that developed the Emmy Award-winning stimTVTM technology.
Prior to joining stimTV, Vibol served as Vice President of Technology at WEBeDoctor,
where he defined the company’s business and technology strategy and invented
new Web-based methods and technologies for electronic medical record (EMR) data
recording, including one of the first HIPAA-compliant Web-based solutions on
the market. Since 2000, Vibol has also acted as an independent technology consultant
on systems infrastructure, software architecture, project management, quality
assurance, product research and development, scalability and disaster planning
for various private technology and financial companies. He co-founded and continues
to serve as President of KhmerConnection, an online community serving over 28,000
loyal members.
Vibol graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree
in Cognitive Science and a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction.
